Responsibilities

• Lead the DevOps team, mentoring and growing senior DevOps engineers
• Collaborate with development, quality engineering, and IT teams to design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, and high-availability Linux-based build and test infrastructure
• Work with development and testing teams to maintain and improve the test orchestration and scheduling tool chain
• Proactively optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations
• Handle system updates, upgrades, and patch management to keep the environment secure and up to date
• Set up monitoring tools to track system performance, application metrics, and infrastructure health
• Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt) to automate provisioning and installations
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

Requirements

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
• 2+ years managing other engineers and high impact projects
• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting
• Strong proficiency in Python development
• Proficient in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt)
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with C++
• Experience with workload manager software (Nomad, Slurm, etc.)
• Experience with cloud technology (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with OpenStack
• Fluent in English
