About the Position
We are seeking a Staff Engineer Electrical-APG with 10+ years of experience to join our team in Pune, India, focusing on advanced electrical engineering.
Responsibilities
- Continues developing knowledge and provides guidance on design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and B&V policies.
- Independently applies knowledge and complies with B&V quality program relative to assigned tasks.
- Prepares complex engineering deliverables for larger or multiple projects.
- Actively coordinates with all other internal/external team members on moderately complex projects.
- Recognized as a technical specialist, providing consultation and guidance to project teams in a particular practice area.
- May assist with performance management, mentoring, recognition, and any corrective actions required.
- May participate in career planning, and learning and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
- Creates LV and MV switchgear meter and relay diagrams.
- Creates Generator and/or Transformer Meter and Relay diagrams.
- Performs load flow, short circuit, AC and DC arc flash, static motor starting, GSU sizing, generator breaker, and bus duct sizing in ETAP and/or SKM.
- Prepares Three-Line diagrams, equipment specifications, electrical construction specifications, and protective relay settings.
- Reviews vendor submittals and responds to RFIs.
- Prepares insulation coordination studies and protective relay settings for large transformers including differential relays.
- Familiar with NFPA 780, NEC (NFPA 70), and IEC standards.
