About the Position

Framatome, a leading company in nuclear instrumentation and control, is seeking a Software Development Intern for rapid prototyping solutions in Lyon, France. This role is part of the Instrumentation and Control Business Unit, which has extensive experience in providing control and monitoring systems for nuclear reactors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a benchmark of existing tools on the market.
• Test and evaluate identified solutions to analyze their relevance to needs.
• Develop a prototype to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed solution.
• Explore the use of artificial intelligence in prototyping activities.
• Monitor the development and improvement of one or more tools within the Business Unit.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bac+5 level education in engineering or university with a specialization in automation, artificial intelligence, or embedded systems simulation.
• Motivated by technical challenges and innovation.
• Strong analytical skills, curiosity, reactivity, and rigor.
• Good writing skills and proficiency in French.
• Basic knowledge of English.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Autonomy, adaptability, and a desire to learn.
