Responsibilities

• Participation in M&A Operations: Assistance in legal due diligence, structuring transactions, preparing signing and closing documents, etc.
• Assistance in Drafting and Negotiating Contracts: Drafting and negotiating contracts for sales/acquisitions, shareholder agreements, commercial and distribution contracts, etc.
• Coordination with External Counsel: Working with French and foreign legal advisors in multi-jurisdictional transactions.
• Monitoring and Summaries: Keeping abreast of legislative, regulatory, and case law developments in corporate and contract law.
• Legal Research and Translations: Conducting ad-hoc legal research and translations.

Requirements

• Education:

  • Law student (Master 2 in Business Law or General Private Law).
  • Dual degree (IEP, Business School, or LL.M.) is appreciated.

• Experience:

  • Significant first internship in the M&A department of a law firm.

• Skills and Qualities:

  • High level of rigor and excellent writing skills.
  • Analytical and synthetic thinking, intellectual curiosity, and autonomy.
  • Strong teamwork spirit, interpersonal skills, and perfect command of legal English (written and spoken).
