Strategic Analytic & Insight Business Partner (FMCG)
Full-time
The SA&I Commercial team at NIQ is dedicated to helping manufacturers and retailers unlock growth through advanced analytics, commercial activation solutions, and strategic consulting.
As a Strategic Analytics & Activation Business Partner, you will lead commercial growth and client engagement across Analytics & Activation solutions, helping clients address complex business challenges and drive measurable business impact.
You will work closely with leading organizations to develop strategic partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and deliver data-driven solutions across areas such as Route-to-Market, Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, and Marketing Modelling Mix.
This role combines consultative selling, strategic business partnering, and commercial leadership to accelerate both client success and business growth.
Responsibilities
Commercial Growth & Client Partnership
- Drive commercial growth objectives for the Analytics & Activation portfolio through strategic account development and business expansion.
- Build and execute annual account growth plans aligned with client priorities and business objectives.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through consultative engagement with clients.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurate forecasting, and achievement of commercial targets.
Strategic Consulting & Solution Development
- Develop a deep understanding of client business priorities, challenges, and growth ambitions.
- Translate complex business questions into actionable analytics and activation solutions.
- Design and position tailored solutions across Route-to-Market, Price & Promotion, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, and Marketing Modelling Mix.
- Create compelling business cases, proposals, and value propositions that demonstrate measurable client impact.
Client Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders across client organizations.
- Facilitate strategic conversations that help clients navigate changing market dynamics and identify growth opportunities.
- Influence clients on the business value and application of analytics-driven decision making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery Excellence
- Collaborate closely with commercial, product, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client engagement and execution.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to bring the best solutions, methodologies, and expertise to clients.
- Support delivery teams by ensuring recommendations are commercially relevant, actionable, and aligned with client objectives.
- Drive client satisfaction through effective project governance and value realization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in FMCG, Retail, Market Intelligence, Analytics, Commercial Strategy, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, or Consulting.
- Proven experience in client-facing commercial, consulting, or business development roles.
- Strong understanding of commercial analytics and business growth drivers, with exposure to areas such as Route-to-Market, Price & Promotion, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, or Marketing Modelling Mix.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities, develop client solutions, and drive commercial outcomes.
- Experience working in a matrix, regional, or multinational environment is a plus.
