About the Position
Strong Junior Full-Stack JavaScript Developer
Remote
Ukraine
Our engineering team is looking for talents to build React and Node.js applications for start-ups from healthcare, fintech, and AI domains.
This role primarily focuses on front-end React engineers with back-end experience in Node.js.
Well-established development practices and modern technology stack provide a great growth opportunity and a convenient working environment.
What you'll be working on:
- 🏹 Develop user-friendly web applications with React
- 💻 Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and Nest.js
- 🏗 Use Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS) in daily work
- 👏 Work on interesting tasks and share knowledge with teammates
- ✨ Help improve code by suggesting new ideas and better approaches
- 💯 Create new features from scratch according to requirements
- ⚡ Collaborate with the client’s team in English
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Confident use of React and frameworks such as Next.js
- Hands-on experience creating APIs with Node.js (Nest.js, Apollo Server, or similar)
- Experience designing and working with databases like Postgres, MongoDB, Firebase, or Supabase
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code and follow good practices
- Comfortable working with Git
- English: B2+ - able to communicate confidently with clients
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with key services in Google Cloud or AWS
- Working with Docker and Kubernetes in projects
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Knowledge of GraphQL stack
- Ability to document APIs using Postman or similar tools
- Practical experience implementing LLM
