Strong Middle Data Engineer

About the Position

Join Intellias as a Strong Middle Data Engineer to develop scalable solutions for Supply Chain Management data integration. We are looking for a dedicated professional to establish a dedicated Operational Data Product Team to address the critical fragmentation and slow utilisation of Supply Chain Management data trapped in complex SaaS systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand and analyze data requirements
• Lead the design and implementation of data models and database structures that meet business needs
• Profile, refactor, and tune performance in the database
• Design and implement complex ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into the data warehouse
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy through robust data quality assurance measures
• Review and support team members, providing guidance and mentorship
• Supervise and contribute to the data-driven strategy for the project, aligning it with business objectives

Requirements

Ideal candidate:

• Experienced Python developer with expertise in both batch and streaming ETL/ELT processes on Databricks
• 4+ years of experience as an engineer

Core technical skills:

• Python – advanced
• SQL – advanced

Databricks expertise:

• Delta Lake
• Structured Streaming, Auto Loader, Delta Live Tables
• Unity Catalog
• Databricks Workflows
• Git integration

Azure expertise:

• Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions

Certifications are nice to have:

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional
