Strong Middle DevOps Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Strong Middle DevOps Engineer to join our team in Poland or Ukraine. This role focuses on CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Set up Cloud/Kubernetes infrastructure using IaC approach;
• Develop and support CI/CD;
• Configure monitoring and logging;
• Prompt response to any arising issues;
• Analysis of failures, identifying and isolating the source of problems;
• Automation of routine tasks.

Requirements

• At least 4+ years of DevOps experience
• Experience in troubleshooting and administering Unix/Linux systems;
• Deep understanding of fundamental network technologies like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, HTTP;
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Version control systems: Git
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
  • AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Docker containers
  • Container orchestration and clustering: Kubernetes
  • Kubernetes package manager: Helm
  • IaC tool: Terraform, Ansible
  • Logging stack: ElasticSearch, Filebeat, Kibana
  • Monitoring stack: Prometheus/Grafana
  • Scripting language: Bash, Groovy
  • DB: Oracle, RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Streaming platform: Kafka
  • Web: nginx, apache, websockets

Nice to Have

• Kafka experience in a production environment.
