Strong Middle/Senior Technical Project Manager (Data & AI)

About the Position

We are seeking a Strong Middle/Senior Technical Project Manager for Data & AI projects to manage multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple parallel projects within the Data & AI portfolio, including planning, execution control, and risk management with dependencies
• Organizing the discovery phase and validating key assumptions regarding business value, data quality, technical feasibility, resources, and security
• Defining the project framework by identifying the team, timelines, success criteria, and preparing the transition to production
• Coordinating cross-functional teams involving business representatives, analysts, data and ML engineers, development, architecture, and security
• Collaborating with other Project and Program Managers to synchronize cross-project plans, resources, environments, and key dates
• Identifying technical blockers and working with architects and Tech Leads to assess their impact on timelines, scope, and solution readiness
• Engaging with stakeholders at the process owner and departmental manager levels
• Maintaining project documentation, status reports, and dashboards in Jira, Confluence, Big Picture, and Tempo
• Ensuring high transparency of statuses and maintaining proactive communication among participants

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager or Technical Project Manager in technologically complex projects
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of PM methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) and risk, dependency, and scope management
• Ability to work with uncertainty and incomplete input data
• Technical understanding of solutions: data, integrations, architectural components and dependencies, security risks, infrastructure costs
• Understanding of the AI/ML project lifecycle (discovery, PoC, MVP, production) and its risks
• Independence and proactivity, ability to drive projects without constant supervision, ability to escalate with ready solutions
• English language proficiency at the Upper-Intermediate (B2) level

Nice to Have

• Experience in procurement, contracting, SLA, and acceptance management
• Experience with technical specifications, SRS, API Specs, User Stories, acceptance criteria
• Experience in building delivery processes or implementing methodological improvements in the team
• Understanding of LLM, RAG, MLOps, data platforms, or cloud migration at an applied level
• Certifications such as PMP, PSM, SAFe, AWS, GCP, or other relevant certifications
