Support Electrical Engineer - BESS

About the Position

We are seeking a Support Electrical Engineer - BESS to join our team in Overland Park, KS, Houston, TX, Greenwood Village, CO, or Jacksonville, FL. This role involves working with our Technology, Commercial & Industrial Team, focusing on advanced manufacturing, generative AI computing, and renewable energy integration.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and B&V policies and procedures.
• Develop and apply knowledge independently, complying with B&V quality program.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables, perform research, and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.
• Manage data for engineering work, prepare complex engineering calculations, and adhere to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Assign tasks to develop entry-level professionals and interns, coordinate with project leadership, and interact with other disciplines.
• Understand and address external client's interests and internal client needs, providing support to business development or pursuit activities.
• Share knowledge of the latest technology and processes.
• Assist with performance management, recognition, and corrective actions as skills develop. Mentor entry-level professionals and interns.

Requirements

• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification, and in pursuit of Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Consulting experience (BESS experience preferred).
  • EPC execution experience.
  • Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software.
• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks and drug screens.

• Compensation Range: $91,047.00 - $152,053.00 per year
