We are looking for a Support Engineer who has knowledge and experience working with the following technologies: Linux operating systems (Centos, Ubuntu), monitoring systems (Zabbix, Prometheus, Sentry, Graylog, etc), configuration management systems (Ansible, Puppet), mail services (Zimbra, Postfix+Dovecot), databases (Mysql, Postgres, Clickhouse, RabbitMQ, etc), Docker/Docker-compose, telephony (Asterisk), Git, scripting (Bash, Python), cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, ServersCom). We are looking for a specialist ready to join our team and perform tasks related to infrastructure support, monitoring system expansion, and automation of work processes.
Responsibilities
- Technical support of servers and services, as well as solving technical tasks from users and technical teams related to the work of servers and services.
- Automation of routine tasks using scripts and automation tools.
- Search and identification of problems, assistance in their resolution.
- Configuration, support, and expansion of monitoring systems.
- On-call duty: the on-call team responds during non-working hours to urgent requests and alerts from monitoring systems.
Requirements
- Experience in administering Linux operating systems (Centos, Ubuntu, etc)
- Experience with monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Prometheus (experience with CloudWatch and Grafana is a plus)
- Knowledge of Bash commands
- Experience with Git
- Experience with web servers Apache and Nginx (minimum - basic understanding of the principles of operation of the specified web servers)
- Experience with and basic understanding of relational databases (Mysql, etc)
- Understanding of basic network protocols: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP
- Experience with configuration management systems such as Ansible/Puppet
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform (minimally - basic understanding of the service operation)
- English language at the level of reading documentation and correspondence
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS and its services
- Experience with CloudFlare
- Experience in writing scripts for automation in Bash or Python
- Experience with and knowledge of mail services (Zimbra, Postfix, Exim) and telephony (Asterisk)
