About the Position

Kyiv Consulting is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our friendly team in Kyiv, Ukraine! Ensure seamless business operations and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

Support of Hardware and Software

• Maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networks, servers, and virtualization.
• Support for company employees, ensuring timely resolution of problems with desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment with minimal disruption to work.
• Installation and updating of computer components and software, management of virtual servers, and integration of automation processes.
• Organization of new workstations, configuration of IT equipment, creation of user accounts, provision of access rights, and installation of necessary software (Microsoft Windows, Office, Teams, OneDrive, Google Workspace).
• Troubleshooting IT malfunctions and system failures.
• Support for possible relocations of IT infrastructure and equipment.
• Organization of repair work for IT equipment.
• Management of system updates to new versions and models.
• Provision of antivirus protection and security checks.
• Reporting to the team leader on completed work.

IT Infrastructure

• Support for key components: operating systems, business applications, security tools, web servers, mail systems, PCs, local and global networks (HW and SW), and mid-range server hardware.
• Management of network servers and technological tools.
• Work with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
• Ensuring security through access control, backup, and firewalls.
• Regular backup performance and implementation of data protection, disaster recovery, and resilience processes.
• Responsibility for capacity planning, data storage, and database performance.

Requirements

• Higher technical education.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Confident proficiency in Microsoft products.
• Knowledge in the field of cybersecurity is a plus.
• Problem-solving orientation.
• English language - Upper Intermediate or higher.
• Developed communication skills.
