System Analyst for a leading Polish bank - hybrid Warsaw, 12+ months, B2B. Drive analytical tasks, map dependencies, and deliver robust banking solutions with a collaborative team.

About the Client & Cooperation Model

Our Client is a prominent, innovation-driven financial institution (one of the largest banks in Poland) on a mission to revolutionize the banking sector through modern technology and scalable architecture.

Please note: Optiveum is acting as the recruitment partner for this role. You will sign a long-term B2B contract directly with a reputable IT outsourcing company, dedicating your expertise full-time to this Bank's technological transformation.

About the Role

As a System Analyst, you will coordinate technical project work and independently drive analytical tasks. You will be responsible for defining system requirements, mapping dependencies, generating robust solutions, and ensuring seamless integration between complex banking applications.

Location:

Hybrid (1 day a week in the Warsaw office)

Contract Type:

B2B Contract (12+ months, signed with the outsourcing company)

Salary:

100 - 130 PLN net per hour

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical project work, including estimating analytical and development tasks.
  • Identify system problems in applications and generate robust technical and business process solutions.
  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive functional, system, and technical documentation.
  • Identify and visualize dependencies between various applications and system components.
  • Collaborate daily with software developers and business units to ensure high-quality IT delivery and participate in system and business testing.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a System Analyst in software development projects within the banking or insurance sector.
  • Strong proficiency in BPMN and UML notations (experience with Enterprise Architect is highly desirable).
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of data structures, integration technologies, and software development methodologies.
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments.
  • University degree in IT, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Highly developed communication skills, openness to change, and the ability to make independent technical decisions.
