Systems Engineer (SQL Server / OLAP)

About the Position

We are seeking a Systems Engineer (SQL Server / OLAP) to join our team in Kraków. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the data warehouse environment, ensuring the continuity of ETL processes, and optimizing OLAP cubes. If you have at least 3 years of professional experience in SQL Server and data warehousing, and you are interested in engaging in interesting transformation projects, we invite you to apply!

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accuracy and continuity of daily data warehouse replenishment
• Apply best practices for optimizing the performance of OLAP cubes and SQL queries
• Ensure data security and manage user permissions structure
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve reported challenges
• Design, recommend, and implement improvements in data architecture
• Create reports and data visualizations to support decision-making processes
• Actively participate in the company's innovative development projects
• Maintain documentation of implemented modifications and report detected errors

Requirements

• Higher education
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server and proficiency in writing and optimizing queries, functions, and triggers
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining multidimensional cubes and tabular models
• Proficiency in diagnosing performance bottlenecks in queries and data processing
• Experience in creating clear reports and data visualizations
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell is welcome
• Communicative skills and ability to work in a team, independence, and proactivity in problem-solving
