Tax Assistant – German Desk (m/f)

About the Position

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with tax advisors and consultants on ongoing tax projects for our clients.
• Perform tasks in tax accounting under the supervision of experienced experts.
• Research and analyze tax rulings and interpretations issued by tax authorities.
• Participate in writing tax studies and opinions.
• Support the department in other ongoing work.

Requirements

• Higher education: completed studies or being in the final years, preferably in economics, finance, accounting, law, or related fields.
• Initial professional experience or internships in the field of taxes or accounting is welcome.
• Knowledge of the German language at a communicative level (min. B1/B2).
• Proficiency in English at a level that allows for fluent communication – minimum level B2 or lower but with a clear willingness to develop this language skill.
• Ability to think logically, analyze data, and draw conclusions.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
• Genuine interest in tax topics, supported by educational background or initial professional experience (e.g., choice of subjects in studies, participation in internships, academic clubs, or tax-related projects), as well as motivation for further development and career building in tax advisory.
