Team Lead GO

About the Position

We are seeking a Team Lead GO to join our remote team. This role requires 5+ years of software development experience and 2+ years of leading engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical & People Leadership: Making key architectural decisions, managing technical debt, and fostering a high-performance culture within a team of 4 developers.
• Hiring & Onboarding: Building the recruitment pipeline, conducting technical interviews, and ensuring a smooth integration of new hires into the team's processes.
• Delivery & Process Ownership: Ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality features while optimizing the SDLC.
• Performance Optimization: Identifying and resolving system-wide bottlenecks in high-load components.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborating closely with business teams to define technical requirements.

Requirements

• Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams (including Seniors), with a total of 5+ years in software development.
• System Design & Architecture: Deep understanding of distributed systems trade-offs and the ability to design resilient, evolvable microservice architectures.
• Technical Authority: Expert-level knowledge of Go (internals, concurrency, profiling) and PostgreSQL (complex optimization and indexing).
• Distributed Systems Mastery: Confident command of architectural patterns and principles for maintaining consistency and availability in a distributed environment.
• Infrastructure: Proficiency in container orchestration with Kubernetes and building robust CI/CD pipelines.

Soft Skills

• Strategic Leadership: Ability to translate business goals into a technical roadmap and manage the full delivery cycle.
• Team Growth: Strong mentorship skills with a focus on coaching Senior and Middle developers and conducting effective code reviews.
• Pragmatism: Balancing "perfect" technical solutions with business priorities and time-to-market.
• Recruitment Mindset: Ability to identify talent, assess cultural fit, and build a cohesive, high-performing engineering team.
