Team Lead GO

About the Position

We are seeking a Team Lead GO with 5+ years of commercial Go development experience to lead a team of backend engineers in a fast-growing business group.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of backend engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and regular feedback.
• Own the team's technical delivery from planning and estimation to releases and production support.
• Drive code quality, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement of existing services.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure predictable delivery.
• Hire, onboard, and develop engineers while fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial Go development experience.
• 1+ years as a Team Lead or Tech Lead.
• Strong knowledge of Go, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud environments.
• Understanding of REST, experience with different protocols (especially HTTP and gRPC).
• Experience with databases (MongoDB/PostgreSQL/MySQL/Redis) and messaging systems (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Strong engineering practices (code reviews, testing, clean code) and people management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Grafana/LGTM, Datadog, or similar observability tools.
• Experience with DORA metrics or engineering performance metrics.
• On-call experience.
