Responsibilities

As a Tech Lead Java, you will play a key role in the technical leadership of projects while remaining heavily involved in development.

Technical Leadership

• Define technical directions and best practices for the project
• Mentor and support developers in their skill development
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring quality and technical coherence
• Participate in the implementation of tools and frameworks to optimize development

Design & Architecture

• Participate in defining the application architecture (microservices, cloud, REST APIs)
• Contribute to the selection of technologies, modeling, and technical design
• Write and maintain architecture and design documentation
• Work closely with architects and product teams

Development & Delivery

• Develop complex components in Java/Spring Boot
• Ensure the performance, security, and robustness of applications
• Participate in integration, testing, and deployment phases
• Contribute to CI/CD and the automation of DevOps processes

Methodology & Innovation

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and promote best practices (TDD, Clean Code, SOLID…)
• Introduce new technologies, tools, or industrialization methods
• Be a driver of innovation within the technical team

Requirements

• Graduated from an engineering school or Bac +5 in computer science
• Proven experience of minimum 5 years in Java development and at least 2 years in a technical lead role
• Mastery of modern Java technologies: Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of microservices architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD
• Skills in front-end technologies (Angular/React/Vue.js) are a plus
• Leadership, pedagogy, excellent communication skills, and a sense of teamwork
