Your Missions: Technical Leadership, BSP Architecture & Embedded Linux

As a Tech Lead Linux Embarqué, you are the guarantor of the technical quality and software architecture of our clients' embedded projects. You technically lead the engineering teams while remaining heavily involved in low-level design:

• Architecture & Custom Distributions: Design, creation, and maintenance of BSP (Board Support Packages) and custom Linux distributions via Yocto Project (creation of recipes, BitBake layers) and Buildroot.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Support and skill development of the team's developers, conducting code reviews (Code Reviews) and implementing good software engineering practices.
• Kernel & Low-Level Development: Integration and adaptation of the Linux Kernel, configuration of bootloaders (U-Boot), development, and porting of drivers/pilots for target boards.
• Integration & Industrialization: Implementation and optimization of build chains, continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines applied to embedded systems, and automated testing on hardware benches.
• Framing & Client Relations: Interventions during pre-sales or framing phases to guide the choices of hardware and software architectures according to client constraints.

Your Technical Stack

• Build Systems & BSP: Advanced proficiency in Yocto Project (Poky, BitBake, devtool) and Buildroot.
• OS & Kernel: Embedded Linux Kernel (Kernel Space & User Space), U-Boot, development, and adaptation of drivers.
• Languages & Tools: C, C++, Python, Shell/Bash scripts, Git, GitLab CI / Jenkins.
• Hardware & Architectures: ARM Processors & SoC (Cortex-A / Cortex-M), x86, RISC-V. Communication buses (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
• Methodologies: Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Embedded DevOps, Clean Code.

Your Profile

• Experience: 5 years or more in embedded Linux development, with successful experience as a technical lead or Tech Lead.
• Yocto / Buildroot Expertise: You have a perfect mastery of the embedded Linux build ecosystem and have already designed complete BSPs deployed in production.
• Leadership & Transmission: Pedagogical and good communicator, you enjoy helping teams improve their skills and being the privileged liaison with clients.
• Open Source Culture: Curious and passionate, you closely follow the developments in the Linux Kernel, Yocto, and Buildroot communities.
• Languages: A good level of technical English is required to communicate in multi-site and international contexts.
