About the Position

We are currently seeking a Tech Lead / Senior JAVA Developer for our client, an international company in the FinTech sector, located in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development team in software development and participate in development work;
• Serve as a consultant for business in projects;
• Manage the implementation process within the company's cloud architecture;
• Work closely with the architecture team to ensure application implementation aligns with standards and corporate architecture;
• Participate in projects of various sizes and ensure the quality of delivered applications;
• Work on international projects with distributed teams;
• Initiate and coordinate the process of delivering applications to the production environment;
• Design and implement solutions created in JAVA 8;

Requirements

• Experience in a similar position;
• Experience in designing and implementing application solutions in JAVA;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java JEE application development;
• Very good knowledge of Spring, Hibernate;
• Experience with Maven, Ant, Eclipse, Jetty, Apache Tomcat, Oracle, DB2;
• Experience with XML technologies (XSLT, Xquery, XPath);
• Broad knowledge of JAVA concerning market technologies and preferred experience with several of the listed technologies - Spring, Hibernate, JEE, EJB, JSP, JSF, WebServices (Axis, Axis2), ESB (e.g., Mule), ActiveMQ, JDBC, HSQL;
• Experience with UML diagrams (preferred knowledge of Enterprise Architect);
• Very good knowledge of English due to work in an English-speaking environment;
