The Role:
We are looking for a colleague to analyze and modernize critical business systems. The essence of the role involves mapping and documenting complex business logic-bearing applications using AI tools, and then, with the involvement of the architect, developing and managing the modernization roadmap.
The role focuses on analysis and planning, but implementation is also part of it: the actual implementation is carried out by the existing development team, which includes active professional support as part of the role. The value of the position lies in understanding, translating, and specifying the system, as well as introducing modern software development tools and technologies.
We are looking for someone to join a young, proactive team that improves and modernizes the work of business teams within the company. Our goals include making development processes more efficient with high-level automation and well-thought-out workflows-supported by AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document the business logic of the existing system using traditional and AI tools
- Based on the analyses, prepare modernization proposals and technical specifications for the architect and development team
- Evaluate and specify new development needs-from business intent to technical feasibility
- Develop workflows that support the team's efficient operation, supported by modern methodologies and AI tools
Requirements
- Higher education in computer science
- 3-5 years of software development experience with multi-tier applications
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Full-stack perspective: database, backend, frontend, and microservice architecture
- Strong analytical skills, structured thinking
- System-level vision
- Confident and methodical use of AI tools
- Strong git knowledge
- Thorough specification and documentation skills
- Experience with CI/CD systems and processes
- Knowledge of testing concepts and experience in application quality assurance
Nice to Have
- Database schema management experience (e.g., Liquibase, Redgate Flyway)
- Legacy system analysis or migration experience
- Agentic development knowledge
