About the Position
Technical Architect (Salesforce)
Reply specializes in designing and implementing solutions based on new communication channels and digital media. Structured as a network of highly specialized companies, Reply supports leading European industrial groups in sectors such as Telco & Media, Industry and Services, Banking and Insurance, and Public Administration, helping define and develop business models enabled by new paradigms such as AI, Cloud Computing, Digital Media, and the Internet of Things. Reply’s services include Consulting, System Integration, and Digital Services.
As a Technical Architect at Reply, you will design and deliver enterprise-grade Salesforce and integrated architectures that align complex business needs with modern technology across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments. You will lead or contribute to end-to-end solution design, from conceptual architecture to detailed technical designs, integrating Salesforce with enterprise platforms and emerging technologies, including generative and agentic AI. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will drive Digital, Data, and AI strategies while assuring that solutions meet stringent functional and non-functional requirements in regulated environments. This role offers a structured progression path into Senior, Lead, and Design Authority positions, supported by mentoring, certifications, and exposure to diverse clients and sectors.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution and integration architectures, from high-level conceptual models through to detailed technical designs across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
- Lead the architecture and design of Salesforce-based solutions (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud), ensuring they are scalable, secure, and compliant with enterprise standards.
- Define and govern Salesforce integration patterns with legacy, cloud, and third-party platforms using APIs, middleware, and modern integration technologies.
- Contribute to the definition and delivery of Digital, Data, and AI strategies, leveraging Salesforce, generative/agentic AI, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and business value.
- Collaborate with product teams, enterprise architects, and delivery teams to define architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and solution direction.
- Review and assure solution and technical designs produced by internal teams and suppliers, ensuring alignment to functional, non-functional, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate architecture and design workshops, acting as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders and supporting key design decisions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Identify and articulate opportunities to optimize platforms, improve customer and user experiences, and minimize the cost and risk of business and technology change.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent commercial experience, with a strong technical foundation.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering Salesforce solution architectures in complex, enterprise-scale environments.
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud) and how to integrate it with wider enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, and cloud technologies.
- Solid grasp of solution architecture principles, including conceptual, logical, and physical architecture, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements (performance, security, resilience, compliance).
- Experience working within regulated industries such as Financial Services, or sectors like healthcare, defence, utilities, or government.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, CTA) are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to technical excellence.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to produce clear architectural artefacts, run workshops, and influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, self-directed learner with a growth mindset, comfortable working in dynamic environments and eligible for UK SC Clearance.
We Offer
- Opportunity for career progression into Senior, Lead, and Design Authority positions.
- Support through mentoring, certifications, and exposure to diverse clients and sectors.
- Collaborative and innovative work environment.
