Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are looking for a Technical Consultant to join our team in Pilsen. You’ll design customer environments – from initial analysis all the way to installation and configuration of the solution. Customer requirements will go through your hands from A to Z – you’ll analyze them and help find the best possible technical solution. You’ll communicate not only with customers, but also with internal teams such as Development, QA, and Project Management. A natural part of your role will be customer support, troubleshooting technical issues, and training users. By prior agreement, you’re open to occasional night work when the project requires it. And as a bonus: from time to time, you’ll have the opportunity to travel and discover interesting places.

Responsibilities

  • Design and configure customer environments from initial analysis to installation and configuration.
  • Analyze customer requirements and help find the best possible technical solutions.
  • Communicate with both customers and internal teams such as Development, QA, and Project Management.
  • Provide customer support, troubleshoot technical issues, and train users.
  • Open to occasional night work when the project requires it.
  • Opportunity to travel and discover interesting places.

Requirements

  • Finished education in a technical field, ideally with an IT focus, or relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience in IT and eagerness to keep growing.
  • Very good command of Linux and Windows.
  • Familiarity with virtualization tools such as VMware and VirtualBox.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly and enjoy communication.
  • Comfortable using English on a daily basis; German is a big plus.
  • Basic understanding of software architecture principles.
  • Knowledge of SQL, UML, or any programming language is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud technologies is considered a bonus.

We Offer

  • 26 days of vacation + sick days.
  • Offices in the center of Pilsen (Kalikovský mlýn) with private parking and covered bike racks.
  • MultiSport card + many non-work sports activities.
  • Relaxation zone with foosball and ping-pong.
  • Lots of events and experiences – board games, running, floorball, beach volleyball, children's days, parties... there's never a dull moment here.
  • Fruit days and healthy snacks during the day.
  • Monthly breakfasts together and ice cream days in the summer.
  • Physical therapist in the building with company contribution to the cost.
  • Open and friendly atmosphere – no formalities, we're on a first-name basis and leave the dress code at home.
  • Fair pay that will make you happy.
  • Room for growth – we'll help you move forward.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • English courses with a native speaker.
  • And lots of other little things that will make you happy to come back to us.
