Technical Director

About the Position

A leading supermarket chain in Kharkiv is seeking an experienced Technical Director to join its senior management team. The role involves managing the Technical Department of a retail and manufacturing group, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of various equipment, and overseeing facility operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Technical Department with over 40 employees.
• Oversee facility operations and maintenance/service teams.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of technological, retail, energy, and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor and analyze energy consumption and ensure an uninterrupted supply of energy resources.
• Organize procurement and material and technical support for the department.
• Manage the acceptance, commissioning, and launch of new and renovated facilities.
• Develop and implement measures for efficient and rational use of resources.
• Report directly to the Development Director and the company’s CEO.

Requirements

• University degree in a technical field.
• Proven experience managing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of energy supply systems and experience monitoring energy consumption.
• Experience in the acceptance and commissioning of new or renovated facilities.
• Knowledge of fire safety, environmental safety, and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Experience organizing procurement and material and technical support, as well as ensuring the efficient use of resources.
• Willingness to travel regularly and to live in or relocate to Kharkiv.
