About the Role

Product Application & Development

• Assist in product development & production optimization exercise to meet business needs.
• Provide technical guidance/assistance to customers for product application, troubleshooting through engaging salesperson, customers and carry out lab tests to share and enhance customer product knowledge.
• Responsible for the accurate preparation of samples according to product formulation, to cater for laboratory evaluation as well as upon customer requests.
• Provide technical advice in relation to concrete admixture products to internal staff with the objective of raising the technical capabilities of the organization.
• Involve in planning and conducting trials or testing in the lab.

Technical Advisor

• Provide and innovate the method to prepare cured samples / sample blocks as a technical support to sales team & admixture business.
• Act as one of the key persons to provide technical advice such as conducting product training and demo to sales team, applicators, and end users.
• Act as technical advisor to handle customer complaints including site visits & follow-up as well as preparing investigation reports.
• Carry out site visits to ensure systems were carried out in the correct method and meet customer expectations.
• Build positive working relationships with applicator customers, conduct quality reports, and assess competence levels via practical assessments.
• Provide technical advice to sales team & customer for pre- and post-sales as one of the key persons.

Others

• Prepare and maintain records of all in-house & external test data to ensure traceability of critical & important information. Analyze test results and report findings as well as put forward recommendations for improvement needs where necessary.
• Ensure safe practices are followed at all times.
• Ensure that lab tools & equipment used are clean and well maintained after use. Maintain cleanliness of laboratory after each trial or testing activity.
• Communicate with independent laboratories & other external parties for all company products related testing.
• Lead in any QC matters for finished products and raw materials.
• Lead any COA, Audit, or EHS matters pertaining to the lab.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks given by R&D Manager or Technical Manager.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
