About the Position

Technical Implementation Engineer / Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a Technical Implementation Engineer / Solutions Engineer to join our team in Chicago. This role involves software deployment, system integration, and customer support.

Location: Chicago (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week)

This position is open to candidates who are currently located in the Greater Chicago area.

Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas, including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens). We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B).

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and upgrade software solutions in customer environments.
Design and recommend optimal system architectures and deployment models.
Provide technical support related to system integration, databases, licensing, and infrastructure.
Deliver administration and technical training to customers.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
Support pre-sales and post-sales technical engagements, including evaluations, proof of concepts, installations, and production support.
Collaborate with internal engineering, support, and customer success teams to ensure successful implementations.
Participate in automation and process optimization initiatives.

Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
Containerization Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes (nice to have)

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in system administration, software deployment, infrastructure support, or database administration.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with virtualized environments.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Scripting experience, ideally with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact directly with customers.
Ability to work across infrastructure, software, database, and cloud-related topics.

Nice to Have

Experience with enterprise software deployment and support.
Knowledge of automation platforms and workflow orchestration.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Previous customer-facing or consulting experience.
