Technical Service Project Specialist (m|w|d)

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate service projects in mechanical engineering – from the offer phase through implementation to commissioning and invoicing
• Manage the technical and commercial support of modernizations, retrofits, conversions, upgrades, and plant relocations
• Plan and manage schedules, costs, resources, and quality, keeping track of project status and completion rates
• Create project plans, status reports, and documentation, and regularly report on progress, deviations, risks, and necessary measures
• Coordinate collaboration with internal departments, external partners, service providers, and international service hubs
• Serve as the central contact person for our customers throughout the entire project duration
• Assist in technical clarifications, offer preparation, and the development of pragmatic solutions in case of deviations or escalations
• Identify optimization potentials and continuously improve service processes, workflows, and standards

Requirements

• Technical degree, technician training, or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or a related field
• Professional experience in project management and managing complex projects with multiple interfaces – ideally in the service environment of mechanical or plant engineering
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous
• Excellent command of German and English in speech and writing
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach
• Strong communication skills, organizational ability, performance readiness, and customer orientation
• Occasional travel as required by the project
