Test Automation Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with strong QA expertise, hands-on automation skills, and experience in data testing and Azure to join our team in India, working remotely.

Responsibilities

• QA Seniority and Ownership: Ability to define the testing approach, identify quality risks, and drive improvements across the team.
• Test Automation: Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript / JavaScript; Robot Framework is also relevant, with Playwright as the preferred stack.
• Web and API Testing: Designing and maintaining automated tests covering UI, APIs, and integrations.
• Framework Development: Building scalable, maintainable automation frameworks and improving test reliability and coverage.
• Data Testing: Working with databases, SQL, Databricks, and validation of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data quality.
• Cloud: Experience working with Microsoft Azure environments.
• Engineering Practices: Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• AI-Assisted QA: Practical use of AI tools for test creation, analysis, debugging, and improving testing efficiency.

Requirements

• QA Seniority: Proven experience in a QA role with a history of ownership and driving improvements.
• Test Automation: Proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript / JavaScript; experience with Robot Framework is a plus.
• Web and API Testing: Demonstrated ability in designing and maintaining automated tests.
• Framework Development: Experience in building and improving automation frameworks.
• Data Testing: Experience with databases, SQL, Databricks, and data validation processes.
• Cloud: Experience working with Microsoft Azure environments.
• Engineering Practices: Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• AI-Assisted QA: Experience with AI tools for test automation.
