About the Position
We are seeking a Software Tester with technical affinity to join our team in Markelo-Amersfoort, NL, focusing on both functional and automated testing. This role involves writing, reviewing, and executing manual and automated test plans and test cases. You will be working in an autonomous DevOps team, collaborating with developers and analysts on one of the components of our software.
Responsibilities
- Write, review, and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases.
- Develop functional, performance, and security tests using various tools (e.g., Postman, Gatling, Behat, Cucumber).
- Automate tests at different levels, such as API, GUI, and integration.
- Document test results and report them to the team and stakeholders.
- Continuously research potential improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s diploma in both work and technical skills (e.g., HBO ICT, Informatics, Business Intelligence, Technical Management).
- Knowledge of testing techniques and methodologies such as ISTQB or TMap.
- Affinity with the technical side of software testing (Programming, Continuous Integration/Delivery).
- Knowledge of test automation with tools such as Cucumber, Rest Assured, Apitest, or Cypress is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Go, Java, Scala, Kotlin, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL database systems is a plus.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment and embracing concepts such as DevOps.
