About the Position

We are reaching out with an exciting opportunity matching your ZHCN>EN game localization expertise for our flagship mobile gaming account. Wondering if you are interested in this?

Project Scope

• Service: Game Localization/Translation
• Language Pair (LP): ZHCN → EN
• Core Requirement: Hands-on game localization experience and native/near-native English speakers.
• Setup: Remote role in core business hours
• Workload: 40 hours/week, Mon–Fri (8h/day)
• Duration: Specific duration will be discussed with PM later (estimated 3 months, with potential extension for long-term cooperation)
• Starting Date: To be scheduled with PM once we shortlist you.
• Workflow: Information verification, NDA signing, qualification sample test, and full onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle game localization covering in-game UI, storylines, character dialogue, marketing copy, and linguistic LQA
• Narrative polishing, cross-cultural adaptation, and creative brainstorming with game teams

Requirements

• A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)
• 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree
• 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)
• A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
