We are looking for a passionate User Interaction & User Experience Designer for BIOVIA at Dassault Systèmes in San Diego, CA. Join our team to shape how people use digital products by creating engaging, intuitive, and logical touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Design flows: Map how users move through apps and websites.
• Build prototypes: Create low- and high-fidelity mockups to test digital behavior and animations.
• Research users: Study user habits and test features to solve pain points.
• Map user journeys: Build user flows, personas, and site maps.
• Create designs: Draw wireframes and build clickable prototypes.
• Test and improve: Watch real people use the product to fix flaws.
• Collaborate: Work with software engineers, product managers, writers, and visual designers.
• Identify target user groups: Carry out interviews or other types of inquiry to help understand user needs.
• Ensure the creation and implementation of loveable experiences for the BIOVIA user.
• Produce high-quality solutions: Through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards, and site maps.
• Provide guidance: On the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior.
• Maintain a competitive edge: Against competitor products and industry trends.
• Perform tests: On user interface elements such as CTAs, layouts, target links, landing pages, and banners.
• Understand product specifications and user psychology: Predict what might work for both.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, or a related field.
• 4 to 5+ years in UX or interaction design.
• Proficiency in software like Figma or Adobe XD, including AI prototyping.
• Strong problem-solving, visual design, and communication abilities.
• Ability to understand business metrics and translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate ideas to developers.
• Knowledge of AI prototyping tools like Figma.
• Problem-solving skills to determine solutions to user interface challenges.
• Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Analytical mind with business acumen.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and mastery of information design.

About the Company

Dassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience. Salary Pay Transparency

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $116,000 and $125,000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
