Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend solutions using Java and Kotlin.
• Develop REST-based APIs and integrate with cloud platforms like Azure.
• Utilize relational databases such as PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks like JPA/Hibernate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.

Requirements

• Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience with Java and/or Kotlin, including modern frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
  • Experience with developing robust backend solutions and integrations (REST-based APIs).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), and knowledge of containers and modern development practices (CI/CD).
  • Experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL), SQL development, and ORM frameworks like JPA/Hibernate.

• Desirable Skills

  • Frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
  • Interest in and experience with using AI assistants and modern AI tools in daily development work.

• Experience and Work Style

  • Good business understanding and ability to find good technical solutions to customer needs.
  • Experience in a consultant role is a plus.
  • Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams.

• Personal Attributes

  • Works structured and has a high awareness of quality in deliverables.
  • Actively contributes to professional development through sharing, sparring, or professional forums.
  • Keeps up to date with new technologies and takes the initiative to use them where it adds value.

• Formal Requirements

  • Relevant higher education at university or college level.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in Norwegian with the customer, both orally and in writing.
