About the Position
We are seeking a Voice Recognition Executive with Italian proficiency to join our team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely human validation of Voice-to-Text transcriptions and ensuring data accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Access and operate the Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) Back Office and user interfaces on a daily basis.
- Play and assess the associated audio and compare what was spoken with the displayed local-language transcription (typically, item selling price and promotion information).
- Correct inaccurate transcription, price, or promotion values only when supported by the audio; enter accurate local-language transcription and add concise comments when useful or required.
- Document and escalate missing, inaccessible, or unclear audio, language uncertainty, inconsistent status, and unexpected application errors through the approved support route.
- Meet assigned quality, productivity, and timeliness expectations; participate in calibration, coaching, and refresher training; and report recurring transcription, audio, interface, or process issues with clear examples.
Requirements
- High school diploma, vocational qualification, or equivalent combination of education and relevant operational experience.
- 2+ years of experience in data validation, data processing, price collection, transcription review, quality control, or a comparable operations role.
- Proficiency in Italian, including the ability to understand spoken price and promotion terminology and enter accurate local-language transcription.
- Working English sufficient to follow global procedures, training, and support communications.
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail, with the ability to compare audio, text, and numeric values accurately.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, filters, and decision rules consistently while managing repetitive, high-volume work.
- Sound judgment to distinguish an evidence-supported correction from an uncertain case and to escalate rather than guess.
- Basic proficiency with browser-based operational applications, data grids, filters, and comments; spreadsheet familiarity is desirable.
- Prior experience with NIQ Data Acquisition processes or Human-in-the-Loop workflows is desirable.
