About the Position
We are seeking a VP Operations to manage supply chain, logistics, and IT functions, ensuring efficiency and quality of operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Overall management of the supply chain, logistics, and subcontractors (manufacturers)
- Management of the IT function
- Management of the Customer Support function
- Ensuring efficiency and quality of operational processes
- Achieving business objectives and supporting company growth and organizational strategy
Role Definition
- Planning and managing finished goods inventory across global logistics centers
- Meeting customer delivery deadlines
- Oversight of logistics centers, including continuous improvement of efficiency, response times, and costs
- Oversight of distribution and transportation operations, ensuring target shipping times and cost optimization
- Implementation and maintenance of organizational information systems at headquarters and across group companies
- Responsibility for the company’s IT infrastructure
- Management of Customer Support and Customer Success operations
- Building and developing the Customer Services organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering; Master’s degree in Business Administration or Information Systems
- Strong systems-thinking mindset with a business-oriented approach
- Proven management experience in an industrial company with international operations
- Management experience in a high-volume operational environment
- Familiarity with information systems and advanced operational management and control methodologies
- High-level English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel abroad
