About the Position
We are looking for a Web Application Developer to join Talan UK, an international consulting and technology group specializing in Data, AI, Digital Transformation, Cloud, and Business Applications. You will be part of a team building, maintaining, and improving modern Python-based web applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based web applications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance application reliability, CI/CD, observability, security, and developer tooling
- Work with Python services and React/Vite frontends
Requirements
- Strong Python web application development experience
- Proficiency in React and modern JavaScript tooling, ideally Vite
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Essential: Azure cloud experience; AWS is a bonus
- Good knowledge of Linux, networking, security, and observability
- Experience supporting scalable application platforms and cloud deployments
- Ability to work independently and establish reusable engineering patterns and best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS
