Join Knorr-Bremse as a Werkstudent in IP Management, supporting patent and trademark registration, management, and defense.

Responsibilities

• Administrative support in the daily operations of an IP department, particularly in the registration, management, and defense of patents and trademarks
• Planning, preparation, and creation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Assistance in organizing, conducting, and following up on meetings and events
• Document management and file maintenance, as well as structured data preparation
• Communication with internal and external partners, for example, in the patent grant process
• Invoice management
• Participation in a global intercompany licensing system, for example, by maintaining and processing extensive Excel tables
• Taking over small projects within the scope of IP management

Requirements

• Studies in an economic, legal, or engineering-related field, such as Business Administration, Business Law, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Law, or similar
• Fluent German and English language skills in speech and writing
• Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Interest in IP topics, company processes, and international cooperation
• Structured and independent working style, combined with an eye for detail
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal, in German and English
• Team spirit and hands-on mentality, ideally with a passion for working in an agile, small team
• Reliability and discretion in handling confidential information
