About the Role

As a Werkstudent (m/w/d) in the field of Lean Management / 5S, you will support various departments in implementing and further developing the 5S method in work and production areas.

Your tasks will include analyzing existing workplaces and work processes as well as identifying improvement potentials. You will assist in developing and implementing suitable measures and contribute to making workplaces clearer, more structured, safer, and more efficient.

An important part of the job is the collaboration with different departments and employees. You will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas, actively shape improvement potentials, and gain practical experience in Lean Management and continuous improvement.

The role offers you a practical insight into the operations of an internationally active industrial company and allows you to apply the knowledge acquired in your studies directly in practice.

Support in writing a bachelor's thesis in the field of Operational Excellence is offered.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• Interest in production processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement processes
• Ability to work independently and implement project topics
• Analytical and structured working style with an interest in process optimization and Lean Management methods
• Enjoy working with different teams, with an open, communicative, and solution-oriented approach
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Very good German and English language skills in speech and writing
• Willingness to actively participate in existing processes and identify improvement potentials
