Responsibilities

• Coordination and Communication: You implement innovative features in close cooperation with our product managers and with the input of your own ideas. You coordinate with IT teams of other applications (e.g., frontend).
• Optimize Tech Stack: You actively contribute to the optimization of IT processes (e.g., analyzing the status quo, designing KPIs, deriving optimization potentials, and implementing them in cooperation with the respective department).
• Take Responsibility: You make a valuable contribution to the new and further development of travel-specific IT systems, such as booking platforms, and to the analysis and preparation of information.
• Innovation through AI: You actively engage with generative AI (e.g., Copilot, Cursor AI, or Jetbrains Junie) – both for automating development tasks and developing new features as well as for quick and understandable code explanations.
• Teamwork: You are a full member of our experienced and agile development team (e.g., participation in code reviews and pair programming), working on exciting topics around our multilingual car rental comparison.

Requirements

• Education: Ongoing studies in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field with excellent grades (high school diploma and studies).
• Practical Experience: Very good knowledge in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Golang, Java, PHP, C#, Python, TypeScript).
• Smart Problem Solving: High willingness to learn and motivation to constantly learn and apply new technologies and programming languages, as well as high self-motivation and discipline to bring projects to completion.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills and high problem-solving competence.
• Drive and Spirit: High willingness to learn, hands-on mentality, fun in developing, very good communication skills, and teamwork.
• Language Skills: Fluent in German and English.
