About the Position

WordPress Developer (Mid-Senior)

Responsibilities

Take care of technology, code quality, and ensure that our client’s CMS works perfectly.
Collaborate closely with team members and other stakeholders as required.

Requirements

Solid experience working as a WordPress Developer, creating complex features and systems for your clients.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on code quality, best practices, and performance optimization.
Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, core functionalities, hooks, and nuances, applying best practices in development and customization.
Experience working with public sector projects would be considered a huge advantage.
Experience working with WooCommerce and popular WordPress plugins, reusing functionality and adapting it to business needs.

Technical Background

Experience in both Front-end and Back-end development.
Good knowledge of: PHP, HTML, and any modern FE framework (such as React or Vue.js).
Proficiency in SASS, TypeScript, and JavaScript ecosystem tools.
Proven experience in building robust, scalable, and customizable websites using WordPress.
Understanding of clean code principles.
Experience with third-party integrations.
Proficiency in working with relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and writing optimized queries.
Knowledge and implementation of SEO best practices.
Experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization.

Nice to Have

If you have experience with PWA (Progressive Web Apps).
Hands-on experience with development tools: CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes.
