About the Position

Our client – a Swiss Bank with 85 years of history and billion-level assets – is looking for an experienced WordPress full-stack developer for their neobank project in Kyiv/Partly Remote.

In 2019, the R&D Center branched into an IT product company in Kiev with its Product and Project management. They started working on the neobank for the EU market. Currently, there are 4 active projects within the neobank product: mobile banking, scoring, card system, CRM, and services for VIP clients.

Facts about the Team and Project:

Team is over 40 people;
80% of them are Senior-level developers;
No legacy projects;
Modern technologies (Angular, Node JS, PHP, Docker-Kubernetes, Symphony).

Responsibilities

Target support - not full-fledged projects, but more of an ability to problem solve and provide some smaller scale custom solutions;
Build WordPress websites from the ground up by working closely with an in-house team of designers, digital strategists, and producers;
Communicate ideas clearly and in a manner that clients can understand and ‘non-techie’ personnel;
Troubleshooting and technical support;
Research and optimization of the current platform.

Requirements

Required skills:
- Strong knowledge of WordPress. Ability to work within custom theme and plugin development;
- Ability to use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF);
- Familiarity with: Gutenberg Editor, WPML, WPBakery, WPSecurity plugins;
- Experience developing front-end web sites and applications using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (JQuery);
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc;
- Good knowledge of media queries and responsive design;
- Familiarity with a version control system;
- Deployment procedures will be a plus;
- Working knowledge of Figma for extracting graphical assets;
- Strong problem-solving skills (troubleshooting & research);
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git).
