About the Position
Workday HCM Configuration Specialist
NIQ is seeking a Workday HCM Configuration Specialist to manage and optimize Workday systems, ensuring seamless HR operations.
Responsibilities
Workday Administration & Support
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday HCM and related modules.
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes, organizational structures, security roles, and system settings.
- Manage system updates, enhancements, and feature releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues in a timely manner.
- Provide ongoing system support to HR, managers, and employees.
Configuration & Optimization
- Configure and maintain:
- Core HCM
- Staffing Models
- Job Profiles
- Organizations
- Positions
- Supervisory Organizations
- Compensation structures
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend system improvements and automation opportunities.
- Participate in Workday implementation, optimization, and transformation projects.
Testing & Release Management
- Review Workday biannual releases and assess business impact.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans.
- Coordinate deployment of system enhancements and new functionality.
- Document configuration changes and testing results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting Workday HCM.
- Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and business process management.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience creating custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
- Knowledge of Workday security configuration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
