About the Position
Working Student Integrations Management (m/w/d)
Recare Deutschland GmbH, a leading German HealthTech company, is seeking a Working Student Integrations Management to join our interoperability and integrations team in Berlin, Germany. This role is remote and offers flexibility to accommodate your studies.
About Recare
As one of the leading German HealthTech companies, we are reshaping discharge management-technology-driven, patient-centered, and free from bureaucracy. In addition to our market-leading SaaS platform, we develop AI solutions that radically simplify processes in hospitals and aftercare providers, relieve professionals, and refocus on patients. Today, we connect two-thirds of all German hospitals with over 650 rehabilitation clinics and 25,000 care and homecare providers. With around 100 employees, we continue to grow and are looking for people with the right attitude who want to improve the healthcare system with us.
Responsibilities
As a Working Student Integrations Management, you will support our nine-person Interoperability & Integrations Team. You will configure our API gateways in hospitals and ensure reliable operation.
- Monitor incoming support tickets for our integrations, reproduce errors, and assist our customers in finding solutions.
- Oversee our API gateways during operation and analyze technical issues, including troubleshooting via Datadog.
- Serve as a reliable contact for our first-level support for in-depth technical inquiries.
- Act as an interface to our engineering team, create bug tickets, and keep all stakeholders informed of the current status.
Requirements
- Currently studying Computer Science, Medical Informatics, Digital Health, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field.
- Good technical understanding: APIs, data formats, and the basics of software architecture and deployment models such as Cloud, Hybrid, and On-Premises.
- Growth mindset: You enjoy working independently in new technical contexts, are not afraid of mistakes, and actively tackle problems instead of waiting for ready-made instructions.
- Resilient and maintain a cool head even with tricky customer inquiries.
- Enjoy direct contact with customers-by phone and email-and bring empathy and willingness to compromise.
- Self-organized, actively seek support when stuck, and enjoy working in a remote team.
- Fluent in German (C2 level) and English (C1 level).
Nice to Have
- Initial experience in the healthcare sector or knowledge of common healthcare standards such as FHIR, HL7, or DICOM.
- Conscious and reflective use of AI tools in projects or during studies.
We Offer
- Work with purpose: Your work has a positive impact on patients, their families, and medical professionals in the healthcare sector.
- Company culture: We believe in flat hierarchies that promote high performance and strong team dynamics. Our collaboration is characterized by mutual respect, loyalty, and recognition. We work together towards our goals and expect the same commitment from you.
- Flexibility: We offer flexible working hours that fit well with your studies and the option to work 100% remotely.
- Edenred Card: You will receive an Edenred Card that you can use according to your needs.
- Additional vacation day: To allow you to celebrate your birthday with your loved ones, you have this day off.
