2nd shift Quality Assurance Tech

About the Position

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a 2nd shift Quality Assurance Tech to work with a leading company in the manufacturing sector in Port Jervis. This role is essential for maintaining product quality standards, ensuring compliance with specifications, and collaborating across departments to support production efficiency.

Shift Patterns

• Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 12:00am
• Occasional Saturdays required based on business needs

Pay Rates

• $17.50 USD hourly

Responsibilities

• Convert customer and vendor specifications to company format
• Update existing specifications and manage revisions
• Collaborate with laboratories, release teams, and R&D to edit specifications
• Review customer portals for revised specifications and distribute updates
• Set standard startup pieces and general appearance standards for the production floor
• Manage filing and maintenance of completed documentation
• Maintain awareness and compliance with safety regulations

Requirements

• Must-have:

  • High School Diploma (some College desirable)
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English
  • Effective computer, writing, and communication skills

• Desirable:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in cosmetic or pharmaceutical inspection process
  • PC knowledge, specifically MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
