About the Position

Wizcorp is seeking a Senior 3D Character Artist to join our team for next-generation gaming projects. Your experience, skills, and background will determine the best position within our company. As a global company with offices in 21 countries, this role offers the opportunity to work worldwide and gain exposure to various art styles.

Responsibilities

• Character design (humans, creatures, weapons, etc.)
• 3D character modeling (modeling, sculpting, skinning, setup, etc.)
• Technical support for 3D character creation

Requirements

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in character modeling in the gaming industry
• Proficiency in Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Houdini, and more
• Experience with background modeling in Unity or Unreal Engine
• Knowledge of shaders and scripts
• Understanding of high-end 3DCG graphics

Preferred Skills

• English proficiency and experience in English-speaking production environments
• Experience in project leadership and management
• Experience coordinating with external companies
• Desire to work as a 3D modeler globally

Salary

• Annual salary range: ¥6,000,000 to ¥8,400,000 (monthly: ¥500,000 to ¥700,000)
• Salary is determined based on experience and interview evaluation
• First 6 months are a probationary period with no salary changes
