Join our team at BDA's Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Capability as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) on the MQ-28 Ghost Bat program. The MQ-28 Ghost Bat is an uncrewed teaming aircraft designed to be a force multiplier providing affordable, intelligent mass while reducing risk to existing crewed assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks on the MQ-28 Ghost Bat aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with aircraft maintenance procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Travel and work away from home as required.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)
• Demonstrate an understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and regulations.
• Must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain an Australian NV1 Defence security clearance.
• Hold a C class driver's license.
• Possess excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working with Military aircraft.
• Hold CASA or DASA Maintenance License or the ability to obtain.
• Good knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
• Working knowledge of computer-based maintenance management systems.

Security Clearance

You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (Negative Vetting 1) sponsored by BDA. More information on the security clearance vetting process is available on the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) website.
