About the Position

NEC Argentina S.A. is seeking a Data Scientist for AI applications in Ciudad de Santa Fe. The role involves analyzing video data and developing AI algorithms for behavior analysis and facial recognition.

Responsibilities

• Analyze video data collected from surveillance cameras to identify patterns, trends, and events of interest.
• Develop and implement AI algorithms for applications such as behavior analysis and facial recognition.
• Participate in the implementation of data science solutions with large volumes of information.
• Communicate findings from data analysis effectively through detailed reports and dashboards.

Requirements

• At least four (4) years of experience in data analysis and software development.
• Knowledge and experience in data visualization technologies.
• Experience in software development disciplines with methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience in system documentation.
• Team leadership skills.
• Certifications related to data science.
• Specializations in advanced data analytics and intelligent processing such as data science, AI, machine learning, natural language processing, etc.
• Knowledge and/or experience in implementing data pipelines.
• Advanced concepts in mathematics and statistics.
• Design and implementation of software development metrics.
• Experience in development with Python and R.
• Courses and/or certifications and/or experience on information security standards such as ISO 27001, COBIT, ISAE3402, SOX, or ISO9000.
• Knowledge and/or experience in designing indicators and constructing information.
• Training, courses, and/or experience in designing interfaces with user experience (UX) and usability.
• Knowledge and/or experience in specifying and/or implementing standards.
• Design and queries in other non-SQL databases.
• Solutions with Apache Kafka and Druid.
• Handling of spatial data and georeferencing.
• Tools for executing and monitoring software testing.

Education and Experience

• Tertiary or university-level education with complete studies in careers of 3 or more years. Degrees in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, University Systems Analyst, Bachelor of Information Systems, Bachelor of Computer Science, or related fields in Information Technology.
