About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Android Developer to join the Kiss My Apps team and develop an application in the interior design niche.

The product you will join is already in the Top-2 in its niche by Revenue and Downloads. The team is actively exploring new opportunities, expanding functionality, and has an ambitious goal to become the Top-1, and then move into adjacent niches to be useful to an even larger audience.

This is an opportunity not just to write code, but to influence product development, propose technical solutions, automate your own routine, and see the direct impact of your work on the product.

Responsibilities

Development of Android Application

• Development and support of an Android application with a focus on user experience.
• Implementation of UI components and animations according to the design.
• Optimization of the efficiency and speed of the application.
• Search and proposal of new opportunities for improving current and adding new features to the application.

Collaboration with Team and Product

• Collaboration with designers, Product Managers, and Backend team.
• Participation in finding solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
• Support of technical documentation.

CI/CD and Quality

• Support of CI/CD processes.
• Work on the quality and maintainability of the code.
• Use of AI tools in daily work.

Requirements

Android Development

• At least 2 years of commercial Android development experience.
• Confident knowledge of Kotlin: coroutines, Flow, structured concurrency.
• Practical experience in UI development using Jetpack Compose.
• Confident understanding of SOLID principles and their application in Android development.
• Experience with Clean Architecture in Android projects: data / domain / presentation, Use Cases, Repository pattern.
• Experience with architectural approaches MVVM or MVI.
• Experience with Dependency Injection: Hilt or Koin.
• Experience with Git.
• Active use of AI tools in daily work - must have: Claude Code, Copilot, or analogs.

Work with API and Data

• Experience with API integration: Retrofit or Ktor.
• Understanding of REST.
• Experience with local data storage: Room, DataStore.

Soft Skills

• Motivation and proactivity with a focus on independent project advancement.
• Product thinking aimed at creating user-centric solutions that meet business goals.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
• Analytical thinking for assessing challenges and making data-driven decisions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with analytics and mobile attribution: Firebase, Amplitude, AppsFlyer, or analogs.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD for Android: Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or analogs.
