About the Position

We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team, responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining native Android applications with a modern tech stack centered around Kotlin. You will design intuitive interfaces and robust backend integrations that provide a seamless mobile experience for users, while collaborating closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to turn feature concepts into high-performing, reliable, and scalable Android applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces that adhere to Material Design guidelines
  • Integrate with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to deliver dynamic content and features to mobile users
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and share knowledge within the team
  • Write unit and UI tests to ensure application stability
  • Profile app performance to optimize speed, battery consumption, and memory usage
  • Assist in preparing and publishing application updates to the Google Play Store

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in native Android application development
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and deep knowledge of the Android SDK
  • Understanding of modern Android architecture components and design patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture
  • Knowledge of Dependency Injection with Hilt/Dagger and Coroutines/Flow
  • Familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle, and Git
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose or XML-based layouts
  • Experience with JUnit and Espresso for testing purposes
  • Capability to work in an Agile/Scrum team environment and collaborate via tools like Jira and Confluence
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
