About the Position

We are seeking a Java Architect to lead our software architecture in the insurance sector, focusing on AI and modern application architectures.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the application architecture of our platform.
Design technical solutions addressing performance, security, maintainability, and scalability.
Support development teams in architectural choices and complex technical issues.
Participate in the definition and design phases of new features with Product and R&D teams.
Define development standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.
Design and evolve the technical components of the Cleva framework.
Conduct technical studies, POCs, and prototypes to evaluate new technologies.
Participate in resolving complex incidents and support teams on high-value technical topics.
Contribute to technological watch and propose innovations, particularly around AI and modern application architectures.
Participate in the continuous improvement of our development processes and quality approach.

Formation: Bac +4/5 in computer science.
Experience: At least 7 years of experience in Java development, with significant experience in application architecture or as a Lead Developer.
Technical Skills:
- Excellent mastery of Java 17/21 and the Spring ecosystem.
- Solid experience in designing high-volume monolithic applications and their evolution.
- Good knowledge of hexagonal architecture principles, Design Patterns, and software design best practices.
- Experience with REST APIs and integration issues.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Maven, Git, Jenkins, JUnit, and UML.
- Good mastery of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript technologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (SAFe / Scrum).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Cloud environments, Docker/Kubernetes, DevOps practices, or integrating AI solutions.
