Associate / Senior Associate

About the Position

Sayenko Kharenko is looking for an ambitious lawyer for a Mid-Level / Senior Associate position in our Banking & Finance practice!

Responsibilities

• Managing transactions or separate workstreams independently with limited supervision, including coordinating with foreign counsel and other practice groups.
• Leading the drafting and negotiation of primary transactional documents (facility agreements, security agreements).
• Providing legal advice and opinions on regulatory matters (currency control, banking regulations) with minimal supervision.
• Supervising and coordinating junior legal team (delegating tasks, reviewing work products and contributing to the professional development).
• Acting as one of the primary client contacts in the team, coordinating client queries and tasks.

Requirements

• A graduate of a leading law university (Master’s degree).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a law firm or a similar role.
• Full professional fluency in Ukrainian and English.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
